Faculty Member, Department of Politics and International Relations
Fellow in Politics
Brasenose College
About
I am the Politics Fellow at Brasenose College, Oxford. I organize and oversee all the politics teaching in the college, as well as teaching at graduate level for the Department of Politics and International Relations.
My primary research interests are in International Relations theory, with a particular focus on how theories are applied and how explanations are constructed. I am also interested in the relationship between social scientific and historical approaches to the study of international relations and in associated issues in the philosophy of history and of social science.
I have an emerging interest in contemporary and twentieth-century British politics and foreign policy.
