Aleksandra is a Doctoral Candidate in Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford. She holds a Master of Philosophy (with Distinction) in Comparative Government from Oxford, and a B.A. (magna cum laude) in Political Science and Philosophy from Northwestern University.
Aleksandra's research interests include: sovereign wealth funds; China overseas investing; China-Africa relations; emerging markets; global financial regulation and its implications for African economies; U.S-Africa relations; and the emergence of China as a major global political and economic actor.
