Thesis Title: Geographical Thought in Quintus Curtius Rufus
About
I am in the second year of my masters in ancient history. I particularly enjoy Greek history and the historiographical problems which arise from studying its sources. For my masters thesis I am looking at the function of geographical thought in Quintus Curtius Rufus and what this might tell us about his Historiae Alexandri Magni. For my DPhil I plan to do a historical geography of the island of Lesbos in antiquity.
