Ariel Liu is a doctoral researcher and professional development coordinator at the Department of Education, University of Oxford. Her research explores how hands-on interactive devices can be used to increase school children’s learning engagement in a museum setting. She is interested in the creative use of technology, especially multi-touch surfaces, and in the importance of architectural spaces for both formal and informal learning. Her current research is in collaboration with the Natural History Museum, London, and the Churchill Museum, and is funded by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan.
