About
I am currently reading for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Law at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Oxford.
My research examines the regulation of the internet with special emphasis on the legal/regulatory issues presented by user-generated content. I examine in particular Web 2.0 and its broader implications in contemporary cyberspace governance.
Before joining Oxford, I lectured on the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law (City University). I lectured in various areas including Civil Procedure & Evidence, Commercial Law, Company Law and Civil Advocacy.
Prior to my appointment as a lecturer, I completed my pupillage at Fountain Court Chambers in London and Juristconsult Chambers in Mauritius. Pursuant to the successful completion of my pupillage, I practised as commercial barrister at Juristconsult Chambers in Mauritius. I have been called to the Bar of England & Wales and the Bar of Mauritius.
