About

I am in the second year of my D.Phil. at the University of Oxford English Faculty, after having completed my BA and MA at the University of Leeds. I am researching the relationship between literary modernism and early cinema, with a particular focus on the work of James Joyce and Virginia Woolf. I also have an interest in the philosophy of Maurice Merleau-Ponty and am currently looking into phenomenological film theory and its relation to both early cinema and modernist literature.
