About

My 2010 PhD was entitled 'Eighteenth-century responses to Sophocles' Oedipus at Colonus'.

I now work in HE access as the Schools Liaison and Access Officer at Merton College, Oxford. This covers widening participation, outreach, access and recruitment, supporting education and HE liaison in general. Under the university's regionalisation scheme I have responsibility for Dorset, Wiltshire and the London Borough of Merton, but I am happy to work with schools across the country.

I'd like to do further research in:

- Greek tragedy and philosophy (Heraclitus and Sophocles)
- Greek tragedy and opera
- cultural histories of classical scholarship
- social media and education
- outreach and access
