About
I am a first-year D.Phil. student at the Language and Brain Laboratory in the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics.
My work focuses on language production: specifically advance planning and phonological encoding. I study language production and planning scope of both native and nonnative English speakers. I also work on the effects of interference (attentional or working-memory load) on speech production.
I have training in general linguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, phonology, phonetics, pragmatics, corpus linguistics, sublanguages (specifically Aviation English), historical linguistics, History of the English language, Anglo-Saxon literature and language, Anglo-Saxon and Latin Palaeography, Old Norse and Middle English.
