My M.Phil thesis was on "Abstention in the Durban Metropolitan Area: Causes and Effects on the Political Process".
My D.Phil looked at voter turnout across the African continent. It was awarded the Political Studies Association’s 2012 Arthur McDougall Prize for Best Dissertation in Elections, Electoral Systems or Representation.
