I am studying ways to link scientific chronology building with archaeological interpretations, specifically focusing on tephrochronology in the North Atlantic of the past 1300 years. The ultimate goal of this is to correlate archaeological and environmental records to build more accurate and precise chronologies of environmental change and its impact on human settlement.
