About
DPhil awarded May 2011 for dissertation focusing on ideological influences on US foreign policy toward the Middle East under George W. Bush. Case studies include Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and Libya. Also taught undergraduate courses, including core international relations theory and US foreign policy.
Jessica also holds an MPhil from Oxford and an AB from Brown, both in international relations. She has been active in the professional arena of political risk, having worked for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, Eurasia Group, and AIG's Middle East headquarters in Dubai. She has also previously worked in Iraqi Kurdistan as a consultant at Dunia Frontier Consultants, as a Shift Editor at Oxford Analytica, and as a sub-contractor at Eurasia Group. She currently lives and works in Abu Dhabi.
