DPhil candidate focusing on ideological influences on US foreign policy toward the Middle East under George W. Bush. Specific interests include Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and Libya. Also teach undergraduate courses, including core international relations theory and US foreign policy.
Jessica also holds an MPhil from Oxford and an AB from Brown, both in international relations. She is also active in the professional arena of political risk, having worked for the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and AIG's Middle East headquarters in Dubai. She is currently a sub-contractor at Eurasia Group analysing pandemic flu prep in the Middle East and is a shift editor and contributing author at Oxford Analytica.
