About
I am a doctoral student in the Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages at the University of Oxford. My research focuses on Cervantes's portrayal of storytelling and fiction in his major works of prose.
I hold Bachelor of Arts degrees in Modern Languages (Spanish) and Communication (Advertising) from the University of Hartford. In 2004 I earned a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Hartford. My thesis, "An Analysis of Informational and Cultural Content in Hispanic and Anglo Magazine Advertisements," was accepted for presentation at the Eastern Communication Association Annual Meeting in April 2004. In 2006 I earned a Master of Studies in European Literature at Oxford, focusing on the works of San Juan de la Cruz.
My research has been partially supported by the Leopold Schepp Foundation of New York, the British Federation for Women Graduates, the Big Y Foundation, and the Light Senior Scholarship (St. Catherine's College, Oxford).
