About

Khaldoun Sweis was born in Amman, Jordan but now resides in the United States, in Chicago Illinois.  He and his wife Luciana have been happily married for seven years.  Luciana is a Doctor in Dental Surgery and Romanian by decent.  They are the proud parents of AnaKaternina Cosette and Daniel Zacharias.
Khaldoun has an AA degree from Moraine Valley Community College , USA, a BA degree from the Eastern Illinois University , USA, in Philosophy, an MA degree from Trinity International University USA, in Christian Thought with an emphasis in Philosophy of Religion.  His MA thesis was on the concept of love, titled: "The Bewilderment and Misconstruction of Love" . 

Khaldoun holds a PhD in Philosophy of Mind from the University of Hull , UK and has advanced training in online methodologies from The University of Illinois in Springfield, IL, USA and a certificate in online teaching from the University of Phoenix as well as one in Public Speaking from Skill Path Seminars.  His experience entails teaching philosophy for over a decade as well as speaking at conferences both nationally and abroad such as Hong Kong,  Australia and England.

He is working on two books:

Debating Christian Theism, co-edited with Chad Meister and JP Moreland (Oxford University Press, forthcoming, 2012).

Christian Apologetics: An Anthologyof Primary Sources co-edited with Chad Meister (Zondervan, forthcoming 2012)

Khaldoun teaches philosophy full time at Olive-Harvey College in Chicago and with Oxford University in England.

He is a member of the International Society of Christian Apologetics , the Center for Consciousness Studies , the American Philosophical Association and the Evangelical Philosophical Society and also participates with the Skeptic Society .
