About

I am a recent graduate from the MSc in Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford.

My MSc research focused on involving community participation in disaster risk reduction, with a particular interest in Mexico, the North Atlantic hurricane zone, and Latin America.

I am currently working with the Global Environmental Change and Food Security programme at the University to analyse the vulnerability of food systems to external shocks in the context of environmental and economic change.

Key words: Disaster risk, hurricanes, Mexico, community participation, vulnerability mapping, GIS.
