About
Wanted to be a rock star. Ended up being a lawyer with some academic inclinations (and the need to sell out to earn enough for a house in Cornwall and a sailboat). Will talk the hind leg off a donkey, mainly about tort law, contract, causation in tort, law and the mind, land law (from a historical perspective), jurisprudence/legal theory, competition law and civil procedure. Also knows a thing or two about other stuff, like looking at people's brains to figure out if they're lying. Made an entire room of rather puzzled attendees do the Stroop Task (aka 'say the colour, not the word') at a conference. Future plans include presenting a paper while dressed in a chicken suit.
