Thesis Title: The Political Legitimacy of Humanitarian Intervention in Southern Perspective, 1991-2001: The Dynamics of an Emerging Norm in International Society
About
I am a graduate student in the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford. My thesis examines developing countries' perspectives on the norm of humanitarian intervention in the 1990s. I analyze the general rhetoric of the South before focusing in-depth on the contrasting perspectives of two countries, Argentina and India.
