About

I am a DPhil student at the Faculty of Law, Oxford University. Before joining Oxford, I practiced law in commercial and corporate sector.

In my current research, I am analysing the relationship between law and economic development with special reference to the development of business organisations. My research is based on the economic analysis of the history of English Law and Islamic Law.

My primary areas of interest are law and development, comparative corporate governance, company law, financial crimes, jurisprudence, land law, trusts, Islamic law and legal history.
