About
My research examines the transitions university students undergo when moving between academia and a summer internship workplace. Adopting King Beach's (1999) concept of 'consequential transition', I am interested in the ways the students learn to navigate their new learning environments.
I have worked as a university administrator for over ten years, most recently in career guidance at Stanford University and the University of Oxford.
I currently work part-time at the Oxford Careers Service, while finishing up my doctoral thesis.
