About
Nikia is a doctoral student in the Department of Politics and a member of St. Antony's College. She holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a BA from Loyola Marymount University. Her current research focuses on the operations of Chinese private manufacturing firms in Nigeria, and the responses of local business and labour interests to this emerging economic and political phenomenon.
Nikia is also a co-convenor of the Oxford University China-Africa Network (OUCAN).
