About
I am currently pursuing PhD at Department of Engineering Science at University of Oxford. I am working in Solid Mechanics and Materials group.
My PhD is on single crystal ferroelectric ceramics and I am trying to study the microstructural evolution in these crystals under electromechanical loading. My work is mostly of experimental nature which involves Atomic Force Microscopy and its various types, high voltage electrical experimentation, synchrotron diffraction studies, SEM etc. I also try to develop a constitutive model for macroscopic behavior of these crystals using MATLAB. I am conversant with Labview and other necessary image editing, processing and documentation softwares.
I have completed bachelors in mechanical engineering and masters in materials engineering in India before starting PhD at Oxford.
