I am currently waiting for my doctoral thesis defending Rawlsian contractualism against a variety of objections, particularly but not exclusively those of G.A. Cohen, to be viva'ed. Partly as a development of my doctorate, I am also interested in problems around ideal and non-ideal theory, the realist critique of liberal political theory, and the relationship between Rawls and Rousseau.
