About
I have completed an undergraduate masters and DPhil at the University of Oxford and am now undertaking a post-doctoral research position as part of the EPSRC extension program. My research has focussed on the development of the Transverse Horizontal Axis Water Turbine (THAWT). Throughout the course of my research I have developed hydrodynamic and structural models of the device to allow the prediction of power output and maximum stress so that the trade-off between structural and hydrodynamic performance can be quantatively assessed.
