Thesis Title: The Design, Test and Analysis of the Transverse Horizontal Axis Water Turbine
About
I previously completed my undergraduate masters in Engineering at Oxford. Now in my second year of DPhil my research looks into the development of the Transverse Horizontal Axis Water Turbine (THAWT). I am currently focusing on the structural analysis of the design using Finite Element software but plan to experimentally measure the forces acting on the design to help validate both the structural and hydrodynamic models.
