Current projects include:
studying sudden onset hazard impacts (eruptions, hurricanes, earthquakes) in the Caribbean pre-1950;
estimating the risk of death faced by slaves in field gangs allowing for selection bias and the healthy worker survival effect;
examining topics in the history of St Vincent and the Grenadines from first settlement by European colonisers to the legal ending of slavery.
