About
I am a final year PhD student in social policy at Oxford University and will be starting a lectureship position in social policy at Brunel University, London from October 2009. I have an undegraduate degree in psychology and am a qualified social worker from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India. My research interests include globalization, the sociology of work and family, occupational welfare, family policy and job-related strain. I have taught social policy at the University of Oxford and Ruskin School of Social Work and hope to develop research synergies on social policy in developing countries.
